Quinn & Konrad - June 23, 2018

From Quinn:

It was a normal NYE, saying goodbye to 2015 and welcoming 2016. I saw this tall dark handsome man across the bar and thought he was pretty good looking. Then fate took control and I was introduced to this man. Thinking I heard he was from Holland, I stuck my hand out saying "Hi, my name is Quinn, I hear you're from Holland" after he chuckled, I was corrected he was the "Polish Prince". It wasn't long before I knew he was my lobster and we were meant to be. Being a wedding photographer myself, I've been blessed to have worked with a lot of very talented people and knew just who to call. Dave Ternier has more energy than any 5 year old I've ever met. He lights up every single room he walks into. It's impossible not to have the best time ever when Dave is there. His voice was made to be heard by everybody. Everybody had been asking me if I'd be using a selfie stick for my photos but I knew Stacey Gabriel was my girl for the job. Of course when you have somebody so sweet you need to add some spice so I had to have Mandy Wark too!! Those 2 girls worked so hard to capture all my details. It was perfect. Our ceremony was held in the Brandon Hills at a private residents that came with its very own waterfall. It was a little piece of Neverland right here in Manitoba. I wanted a different kind of venue and the Prairie Firehouse offered just that. Anna is wonderful to work with and you never hear the word no. She bends over backwards to make sure you are happy and your day goes off perfectly. Walking into our reception knocked my socks off. She pulled off my vision perfectly and used every piece of decor I gave her. We had a lot of details, ranging from programs, name cards, a little about us cards, crossword puzzle all designed by myself and printed at Webber printing. Absolutely couldn't have asked for a better dream team of wedding vendors.

Side note for one the photos, my dad passed away 10 years ago and on the day of our wedding a butterfly landed on my flowers, Stacey told me to pick him up so I did. He sat in my hand not wanting to leave. He was a beautiful black and white butterfly and we all believed that was my dad stopping in to say hi so I knew he was there with me. Stacey captured that moment and it melts my heart every time I look at that photo. Thanks Stacey!!!
